Terms of service
1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions of Service (“GTC”) govern the rental, sale of equipment, and connectivity services provided by Tel-Loc in Canada. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these terms and conditions without reservation.
2. Activities and Services
Tel-Loc offers, among other things, the rental of satellite phones, cell phones,
satellite internet equipment, walkie-talkies, iPads, SIM cards, solar panels,
external batteries, as well as associated connectivity services and a range of
other products. Services are offered to individuals and businesses
throughout Canada.
3. Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period is one (1) week. Any period started is due in full.
4. Ordering and Payment
Payment is required 100% in advance. Credit card required. Billing is in Canadian dollars (CAD). Recurring services are billed automatically. Tel-Loc reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a declined or suspicious payment.
5. Delivery and Collection
Equipment can be shipped anywhere in Canada (flat fees apply) or
picked up at a physical location when available. Tel-Loc cannot be held responsible
for delays caused by carriers.
6. Use of Equipment
The customer agrees to use the equipment in accordance with Canadian and Quebec laws, not to use the services for illegal or fraudulent purposes, and to
follow the instructions provided. Any misuse may result in immediate suspension without refund.
7. Liability
Services may be affected by weather conditions, network coverage, or outages beyond Tel-Loc's control. Tel-Loc does not guarantee continuous service availability and cannot be held liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, or damages resulting from a service interruption.
Use in emergency situations is at the customer's own risk.
8. Loss, Theft, or Damage
The customer is responsible for the equipment from the moment of receipt until its return. In case of
loss, theft, or damage, the replacement value may be charged.
Optional insurance can be purchased at the time of ordering.
9. No Deposit
If no security deposit is required, the provided credit card may be
used to cover any unpaid fees or damages.
10. Return of Equipment
The equipment must be returned on the scheduled date and in good working order.
Additional charges may apply in case of delay or damage.
11. Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Administrative fees
may apply depending on when the cancellation is made.
12. Data Protection
Tel-Loc only collects the information necessary for order management, invoicing, and technical support. Data is processed in accordance with applicable Quebec and Canadian laws regarding the protection of personal information.
13. Applicable Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec.
